There are actually many books on self-development and planning — not dozens, but rather hundreds. Some are very useful, others may turn out to be harmful or, at least, neutral. Want to know if I'm making an assumption or know this for sure? I know this for certain because I've read about 150 books over the past five years. Although about half of them were devoted to programming or IT, the remaining part dealt with self-development, efficiency, planning, financial well-being, psychology, and medicine. My list included both popular science books and books of other genres.
Before writing this book, I spent several years practicing planning, which improved every year until it reached its current form. In addition, while reading all these books, I tried many of the proposed methods on myself. So consider that you don't need to read dozens of other books — I did it for you and collected all the best practices in this book.
