General Description

A small practice-oriented book about Nginx, consisting of 16 chapters. The book is structured in a recipe format and contains ready-made solutions for typical tasks encountered when working with web servers. The material is presented in a structured manner and without unnecessary theory — the emphasis is placed precisely on practical application and real-world cases.

At the end of each chapter, there are links to additional sources for self-study, as well as a brief summary of the covered topic, which is convenient for reinforcing the material. The book covers issues of Nginx configuration and optimization, working with proxying, load balancing, caching, security, and logging. Most examples are oriented towards the standard version of Nginx, but the book also includes recipes for Nginx Plus.

The difficulty level is intermediate. The book is best suited for those who are already familiar with the basic principles of web server operation and want to deepen their knowledge specifically in the practical sphere.

Opinion

Another good book with a small page count, but with ready-made instructions and real-world Nginx cases. It mainly describes the standard and well-known Nginx, but examples for Nginx Plus are also found.
