General Overview

The book is a collection of logic and thinking puzzles. It contains 90 problems and roughly the same number of pages. The difficulty levels are divided into three categories: beginner, specialist, expert. Each level holds 30 puzzles. Often a single problem consists of several riddles. T hints are provided that allow you to seek help without revealing the entire answer immediately. The hints are given progressively—from the least revealing to the most detailed. At the end of the book there are solutions for every puzzle.

The book features a wide variety of puzzle types—from word games and logical problems to creative visualisation challenges and classic thinking puzzles.

Opinion

The book is entirely composed of puzzles. It’s read (more accurately phrased, solved) fairly easily and quickly, especially the first half. There are both very interesting puzzles that require you to sit and think, and those that can be solved swiftly. Some puzzles you may have already encountered online if you are into logic puzzles or just quirky questions from IT interviews. I’m not a huge fan of spending time on this kind of task, but I can nevertheless recommend this book for a read.
