This year, I read 30 books 📘, which is 2 fewer than last year. I think this was due to my trip ✈️ to Novosibirsk and Altai, as well as the purchase of an apartment 🏠 and the subsequent renovation 🔨 in it.
My previous article about how I consciously approached reading for the first time in my life, fell in love with it, and became hooked was very relevant this year. I don't have any new tips 🤔 that would change my approaches and preferences. Everything has pretty much remained the same:
- Read only e-books.
- Do not read fiction or any other books except for IT‑related books and those on management and self‑development.
- Distribute books roughly as follows: 70 percent IT‑related, 30 percent management, and self‑development.
- Read almost every day, at least 20‑25 pages.
- Of course, take notes and reread them, setting aside December for this purpose.
I won't elaborate any further and will immediately move on to the list of what I read last year.
A more detailed list of the books I've read can be found in my virtual library 📚.
Will I be reading books in 2022? Definitely yes! How many will I read? I can't say for sure yet, but I do know the minimum number I need to achieve, and exactly one year from now, there will surely be a similar article with a detailed list.
